Housing in Two Sisters

Construction of single-family home and garage.

C/ Sierra de Aracena, 2. Two Sisters (Seville)

The original scheme of the architectural proposal is based on two parallel longitudinal pieces with an intermediate linear route, which after sliding one over the other, generate an exterior porch space in the corner of the plot, and a private patio in the opposite interior corner in its diagonal.

In this way, a more public area facing the façade is differentiated in the dwelling, and some private spaces facing the interior patio.

The dining room is configured as a generating nucleus to which all the rooms are turned, since it has been located in the center of the house, with a double-height space and open to the staircase, the hall and the upper gallery, as well as being a forced passage space to access the kitchen.

The upper floor is distributed in a similar way with a distribution gallery distributing to the rooms.

The building houses a single-family program and a garage in the basement, which are distributed as follows:

Low level

- Kitchen; living room with front porch; dining room; bathroom and patio

First floor

- Three bedrooms; 1 bathroom; laundry room with terrace

The parking with storage room is located in a semi-basement floor, which takes advantage of the current unevenness of the road, occupying only part of the site.
