Warehouse Jerez de la Frontera
Industrial warehouse for workshop, exhibition and sale of vehicles.
Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz)
The project plot is located within an industrial estate in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz. The adjacent plots are not built on, although the nearby buildings correspond to various types of warehouses with different dimensions and shapes in plan.
The architectural proposal aims to generate a building that is recognized in the environment and defines it. The main use of the industrial warehouses is as an accessories and repair workshop, with a vehicle sales and exhibition area. The resulting free space has been designed as parking and exhibition space, as well as garden areas.
The rectangular nave is modulated into separate porticos. The construction of mezzanines is made possible to house offices or activities related to the own use of the industrial building.
The general scheme of the ship is totally adaptable to the different needs of use. It consists of an exhibition area and a workshop and repair area, separated from the previous one by the nucleus of toilets and changing rooms, as well as a small accessories store. Independent accesses have been contemplated for each area, ensuring the proper functioning of the complex.
The porticos have been made with metal profiles that support a light metal roof. The enclosure has been built with alveolar plates of precast concrete and glass cloths.
The resulting free space has been provided with parking spaces and an exhibition area, as well as landscaped spaces.
