Roman and Canivell| architects

The building is a hotel, except the part of the ground floor where commercial premises are planned. The client access is open to Eduardo Dato Avenue, through a wide hall with three elevators, that provide access to the three basement levels, and the colossal staircase that leads to the first floor.

On the rear section a staff access is placed, with two service elevators, one for the housekeeping and another for the kitchen, and the stairs that connect all the floors.

On the first floor the general hotel facilities are placed: reception, checkroom, bar, restaurant, public toilets, conference halls and receptions halls, kitchen and annexed sections as two utility rooms, one for the restaurant and another for the receptions hall, as well as staff toilets and furniture warehouse.

From the second floor to the eighth floor the scheme is repeated, room on both sides of a central corridor. The total number of rooms is 173, four of them have been handicapped adapted. Each floor is provided with linen cupboard and staff toilets.

Over the roof, as well as over the building offices roof, the elevators engine room and the communication facilities are located. There are two terraces at both sides of these elements: in one the air conditioning and ventilation equipments are placed; in the other a swimming pool and solarium area, with minimum support facilities.
