Musical center
Contest for elementary music education center at Avenue of the Workers. Villanueva del Ariscal (Seville)
The proposal is on a site north of town in a newly developed area.
Façade presents two public roads, Avenue of the Workers and Road of Salteras and Mediatrix with areas of free areas.
We propose a unique building, modern image that responds effectively to the cultural and educational needs of the inhabitants of Villanueva del Ariscal.
On the premise of the contest to get a realistic economic plan as the budget allocated for it, we've focused on creating a building that can grow by self-phase and create the spaces of travel and public halls that require a considerable surface as elements built, thus we can afford to give these areas a larger scale with a minimum cost. They are the most representative of public competition, its image abroad
As the building is planned, the attached square to the site of action is also part of this series of spaces not constructed for public use, completing the intervention.
We are fortunate to be in the south, where open spaces are assumed to be habitable zones the whole year.
The Andalusian courtyard and entrance hall is part of our culture and try to give this project the value it deserves, as a distributor, and coordination between the two proposed buildings within the plot.
There are two distinct uses in the program set for the contest: an educational area and another element of greater scale and municipal level, which is the multipurpose room, have a clear public.
The provision in the plot, it seemed fairly clear, the corner attached to homes, is the area of classrooms, and that requires a front room by room, and it is more domestic in scale (2 plants).

access between open space and courtyard-lobby and finally shown in its facade to annex space, turning to him the stage area and allowing buildings with a run of direct service access to the backstage area and warehouse.
The idea generating the project is to create two spaces constructed, articulated by a common courtyard, which is forcing the public access to ensure its relevance as the main distribution area and qualified.
There are two parallel paths, as can be seen in the diagram below, one that runs from the public space, open the gallery parallel to the facade to the courtyard, and a more private and service that is generated across the multipurpose room, was born in space, and running through the backstage area, warehouse, service, up to the classroom.
